Was Apophis or Maybourne the bigger villain every viewer loved to despise?
Were the Wraith truly scary?
And which villain had some deliberately amusing lines that made us look forward to the heroes facing off with them (in space no less)?

Why does this "filmmaker" actually consider himself competent and other infamous guys like Tommy Wiseau to be amateurs?
Where does schlock like this rank when it's only enjoyable for the wrong reasons?

Filmmaker Roger Corman Mini-Tribute + Retrospect
Monday Oct 27, 2025
Monday Oct 27, 2025
We share with you a raw & in-the-moment sitdown on Prolific B-Movie Producer Roger Corman.
We sat on this as we wanted to give everyone time to process the beloved filmmaker's loss while also framing it mainly on why he resonates with so many of us many film nerds.
After starting off with a 1982 David Letterman interview clip, we dive deeper into some of the future A-list talent mentored by Corman, talk less-discussed trivia & address the crappy comments made by (the otherwise talented) screenwriter Paul Schrader over Corman's passing.
Love him, hate him, admire the passion, Roger's influence is here to stay for centuries regardless!

Johnny Potoky & Oreo Brewer join me in this retrospect/tribute on the divisive yet influential music group LINKIN PARK
Talking Points Include:
*How this band and Nine Inch Nails both become healing music
*We critique the sexist trolls & people who were never going to accept any new Linkin Park material as being the main problem
*How people love to hate ANYTHING they do even though they're not fans & how the group got a better ethical character compared to other garbage rock bands
*The dark realities of Chester Bennington and question why it takes famous people to bring this up in our own personal conversations
*How these music artists influence our personal author & music video creating experiences
*We also talk about who was the ACTUAL owner of the band
*How shitty Chester's song was (when he has no business being on social media in the first place)
*And the debate on music artists finding a new music style Vs. losing their true sense of comradery.

Favorite Moments on The Closer/Major Crimes
Wednesday Oct 22, 2025
Wednesday Oct 22, 2025
Prepare for a fun revisit as we list our favorite moments on the hit TNT TV series franchise: THE CLOSER and its follow-up MAJOR CRIMES.
Guest Lila Morrill, who's a civilian working for the police dept., gets to rate the accuracy as well.
How many brutal bomb defusings, intense shoot-outs, blunt interrogations & welcome office humor make this a cut above most procedurals?
How many STAR TREK & BREAKING BAD actors were on this HOMICIDE/BONES type show?
All that and why both actors Raymond Cruz & J.K. Simmons are national treasures!

Cult Franchise Mini-Review of Monsters & Monsters 2: Dark Contintent
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
Prepare for a brief overview on another monster movie franchise:
Does MONSTERS rank as Gareth Edwards' best creative endeavor thus far or is it more of a reminder for what his later big-budget blockbusters will be like?
Does the starpower in these low-budget outings really enhance the visuals and premise or do they leave much to be desired?
Find out in this positive yet critical reflection as we remind you on how so many A-listers start small when first getting into this chaotic movie business!
